THE Itch

I'm getting THE itch.

THE itch for another baby.

Somebody please stop the itching or don't.

I want one. No, I don't. Well, maybe I do, No, not right now.

A year and a half apart is not that bad, right?!

What if it takes awhile, what if it doesn't.

I want a lot of kids, does that make THE itch have more sense?

Everyone around me is pregnant, facebook, family, personal friends...it's crazy and very addicting!

Please, itch - stop itching, I don't know if it's time or not!

THE itch is driving me insane!

  1. Not to be a "baby pusher" or anything, but there AREN'T any guarantees you will get pregnant again. We will probably stop preventing around the time Nellie is a year to a year and a half year old. We want to enjoy her by herself for a little while - but not too long - before we give her a sib. Soooo.... I don't think it's too soon for you guys to maybe start THINKING about #2. ;)

  2. Henry is almost 5 months old - and I already feel the same way!! We're going to stop preventing at the 6 month mark - that's when doctors gave me the okay to try again, and who knows how long the second one will take - could be immediate, could be years again! We won't seek fertility help until at least a year though.

  3. Totally understandable!! Especially with such a cute little one like your sweet Claire. Good luck making the decision... I'll be in the same boat soon I'm sure :)

  4. You gals are sure making this difficult for me to keep her at bay for the time being. :) Don't get me wrong, I do love the "trying" process. I am quite the pushover... I'm sure attempts will start sooner than later.

  5. Oh, I know that itch all too well! And let me tell you, it doesn't go away until you "scratch" it. :) In my opinion it's perfect timing to start. I have 3 boys, ages 8, 6 and 10 months. The ages were perfect for me!! Good luck in your decision and come visit sometime!

  6. I say at least "practice" scratching the itch! You never know how long it could take, plus "practicing" is so much fun!
    Happy ICLW!
