Homemade Applesauce

Seeing as we went to the apple orchard last weekend, it was only proper to make Claire (and I) some homemade applesauce! It turned out so well, I wanted to share the yummy recipe with you all! I hope you found some time to give yourself a very tasty treat! Enjoy!

Homemade Applesauce:

4 apples
3/4 cups water
1/4 cups sugar
Cinnamon and nutmeg to taste (I use a ton of cinnamon because we are all cinnamon fans)

Peel, core and cut all the apples. Place water, sugar, apples, cinnamon and nutmeg in a saucepan. Let them cook on medium for 15-20 minutes and then on shimmer (or the lowest setting you have) for another 5-10 minutes or until your apples can be mashed easily with a fork. After mashing, place in a container and refrigerate!
