I am Thankful...

#9 -  I am thankful for: For Eric's job and all his hard work he puts forth to allow me to stay at home with Claire the majority of the day! He is such a hard work and I know it shows at work. He has been reward and I can't wait to see where this job takes us!

#10- I am thankful for: The will power and the ability to save for a down payment on a home. It will take us a little bit but we are saving every month. It's stressful some times but I know the outcome will be well worth!

Today is my Friday! Today is a relaxing morning/afternoon with baby girl and then 3 hours of work tonight! Should be interesting, we had a weird/stressful day yesterday at work! I'm just happy that a nice 3 day weekend is around the corner. Tomorrow I'm doing a product study that I was contact for. It's for powdered drinks! 20 minutes I get to try new drinks and in the end, I get $30. I think that's a fair trade!

#8- I am thankful for: Eric's parents. They have helped us out in the past and generally they are very caring people. Claire adores them and I am thankful for their relationship with each other.

Today is cloudy, windy and rainy. Lovely, I know. It's the perfect nasty fall day. It's one of those types of days when you don't want to leave your house or get out of your jammies! It's a snuggle on the couch with Claire type of day. Sadly, I can't do that. I have work and then another Miche party tonight! 4 Miche events in 4 days has made my mind mush! I am thankful for the parties and events because they are paying for everyone's Christmas gifts! With all the money we have saved, I'm actually really excited to Christmas shop this year!

#5: The house I live in. There are so many people out in this crazy world with out a solid, stable roof over their heads!

#6: Our friends! Our friends are amazing people! They can make us smile in a second and I know they are always here for us if we need anything! I love them all!

#7 (Today's): Miche. I'm so thankful that my home-based business is doing well and will be paying for all of our Christmas presents! It's a lot of work but so worth the reward!!

This past weekend was CrAzY busy but Saturday night we decided to take Claire to her 1st live theater performance. It was a super cute play, one that she could understand: "Seussical the musical"! It was all about Dr. Seuss. Claire is a huge "Horton Hears a Who" and "Cat in the Hat" fan so we knew she would love this. It actually kept our active two year old's attention for the majority of the play. In intermission happened, she was upset! She said, "No more Cat in the Hat? Please more!" We explained that he need a little break but he would be right back. She said, "okay" and went on to something else. I love the way a two year old thinks!

I really hope Claire has a understand, love for theater like her momma does!

Halloween 2011

We had a great Halloween! Full of Boo at the Zoos to local Halloween parades! Trick or Treating was one of Claire's favorite things! She was SO excited and kept announcing her excitement all day long! This year she was the cutest little cupcake I've ever seen! Once I heard about the cupcake outfit, I knew that's what I wanted her to be. Two of my favorite things all rolled into one: Claire and cupcakes! I love holidays that are full of amazing memories! I can't wait to see what every Halloween has in store for us! I just know that every year keeps getting better and better!

I am Thankful for...

I know it's the 4th of November so I will just make sure to do 4 "I am Thankful for" today. I think this is a perfect way to make you think hard about what you are truly thankful for in your life. No matter how big or small, I think it's important to acknowledge it!

I am Thankful for:

1. My husband, I could do what I do with out him. He is my rock!

2. Claire. There are no words to describe how much I love her and am thankful for her. She's amazing and is truly a miracle from God. I am so blessed to have her in my life!

3. My Parents. They have helped us out so many times since before Eric and I got married. They are amazing and I love them so much!

4. Our Girls. They are the sweetest most annoying dogs you will ever meet. Claire loves them and they love Claire. They are part of our family and I love that!

Clean Painting

Cleaning painting is perfect for a toddler who loves sensory projects. Claire is a huge fan of paint. She could finger paint anything, all day long. I saw this project and I knew I had to give it a try. She could play with paint while keeping her clothes on and not having to worry about her getting paint all over the place. She loved it. She kept saying, "squishy, cold, soft" while she was playing away. I kept them taped to our sliding glass door for a couple days so when every she wanted, she could go "clean" paint.

All you need:

- 2 or 3 baggies

- Fingers paints

- Tape

Squirt some paint in each baggie. Close the baggies extra tight and then tape to a door, window or refrigerator. Now it's time for your little ones to enjoy!
